Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What inspired you to write Muse?
A: Muse was born from a desire to tell the truth. I had spent years navigating love, loss, motherhood, and survival in silence. Writing this book was my way of reclaiming my voice and making space for other women who have been through the same.
Q: Is Muse based on a true story?
Yes. Every chapter is rooted in real experiences, shaped by emotional truth and poetic reflection. Some names and details have been changed, but the emotions and lessons are deeply personal.
Q: What does B.A.R.E. stand for?
B.A.R.E. stands for Becoming After Ruin and Emotion. It’s the name of the memoir series that Muse is part of, with follow-up books Almost Healed and A Love That Waited coming soon.
Q: Are you still an accountant?
Nope. After 20 years in accounting, I walked away to pursue my passion for writing full-time. Now, I tell stories for a living and help others do the same.
Q: Will there be a sequel to Muse?
Yes. Almost Healed is currently in the works. It picks up where Muse left off and walks through the messy, beautiful process of healing.
Q: How can I book you for an event or podcast?
You can use the contact form on this site or email me directly at gericbiddy@gmail.com. I’m open to book club visits, speaking engagements, podcast interviews, and creative collaborations.
