Biography

Geri Cohen Biddy is a memoirist, poet, and truth-teller whose words walk the line between vulnerability and power. With a 20-year career in accounting behind her, she traded spreadsheets for storytelling, using her pen to reclaim softness, sensuality, and survival. Her debut book, Muse, is the first in the B.A.R.E. series—an unflinching chronicle of becoming after heartbreak, healing, and emotional ruin. Rooted in the raw truths of womanhood, Geri’s writing is a home for those who’ve ever loved too hard, lost themselves in the process, and clawed their way back. She currently lives in West Virginia with her family, building a new life, one page at a time.  You can sign up to get updates about their writing here.

Media Coverage

MEDIA COVERAGE: Muse Featured on Warm Pages 🖤📚

I am honored to share that my book, Muse: Brown Skin – A Dangerous Kind of Love, has been officially featured on the Warm Pages website.

As an independent Black author, media features like this are incredibly meaningful. Warm Pages is a platform that highlights powerful stories, diverse voices, and books that create real emotional impact, so being included is truly a full circle moment for me.

Muse was written from a place of vulnerability, healing, and truth, and to see it continue to gain recognition across platforms, bookstores, and literary spaces is something I deeply appreciate. From selling out at in-person events to audiobook listeners connecting with the story, and now being featured on a literary website, the journey has been both humbling and rewarding.

This feature is not just a win for me as an author. It is a win for indie publishing, for Black storytelling, and for every reader who has supported Muse since day one.

If you have been following my journey, you already know how much consistency, faith, and community support has gone into building this book’s visibility while balancing my career, motherhood, and entrepreneurship. Moments like this remind me that the story is reaching exactly who it is meant to reach.

Make sure you go check out the Warm Pages feature and show them some love for supporting independent authors and powerful narratives.
